Two Hams

It's been an odd few weeks around here. Lots of transitions taking place, the biggest one being that we are actively selling our place, and are trying (with moderate success) to keep things clean and orderly. I'm switching jobs on Monday, Natalia is going back to school soon, and we are still trying to unravel the mysteries behind Andres' sleep schedule. Lots happening.

Yet some periods of calm give us respite in between the waves, and those moments are fun. I think everyone here realizes that summer is slowly winding down; it's time to enjoy the dog days before we rummage through our storage unit, searching for fall sweaters.

These glasses are purely decorative.

    Yes--my new title will actually be "Senior Writer", and I'll be switching over to my company's Office of Communications. It's a pretty big move in that I'll be doing very different work than what I am currently doing, and I won't be tied to any one project.

    In a weird way I have this blog to thank for helping me make the move. I've enjoyed writing more than I thought I would, and I derived a small measure of confidence from the fact that I've been doing this for over a year now. So we'll see...new job starts on Monday, and I'm currently trying to distract myself from cleaning out my office. There's about 4 years of crap in here!
