I have a lot to do tonight so I can't give this post my full, rambling, emotional tear-jerker treatment. (That will probably come this weekend, though I've noticed that as soon as I say I am going to write a post in a couple days' time, it never happens.)
I will say that I've spent the better part of today wondering how it is that 4 years have passed since June 23, 2007. I don't know where the time has gone. And I know precisely where it has gone--into diapers, bottles, playtime, daycare, the waiting room of Waltham Family Practice, etc etc etc. When Andres was the age that Celia is now, I remember thinking, with foolish bravado, "It is so wonderful to see him grow up; I will remember all of this with crystal clarity." I was wrong about that. Now I look at videos I posted on YouTube back in those days and wonder how it is that that child grew into the son I just kissed goodnight.
Anyway, in honor of my big guy on his 4th birthday, here are some of his baby photos. Enjoy.

ReplyDeleteDon't worry too much because there are sooo many more wonderful memories,milestones,sweet moments to come. Nana and Papa remember the long day waiting for their first grandchild to arrive. He was so worth the wait! Just a real sweetheart,like his Mom and Dad. XOXO nana
